Being a past adventurer and part of the group that took the mission to save Eorzea, he was not only executing his duty to avert the Final Days (EW), but also was factinated by the ship in which he headed to the interstellar destination. And since Ragnarok was forced to retire due to its design, Alex now decided to lend his expertise to the Sharlayan Forum, to build brand new technology, including engines and flight controls, making interstellar travel possible once again. All in all, he quite wanted to get to some other places too, apart from the furthest one.
Outside of his work, he is part of Aetherveil and often spends time at the residence, engaging in different things, but also taking part in events, or just hanging out with his fellow members, telling stories and drinking tea.
Apart from that, he sometimes likes to travel and get new experience, especially if it's related to technology. Sometimes those travels can lead him to places like Solution Nine...

Roleplay Style

  • 1st/3rd person (3rd preferred)

  • Short/long-form (from single sentences to multiple paragraphs)

  • Literate/with symbols (usually *...* or regular text to distinguish action, "..." for speech, // ... for OOC)

  • Can adapt to RP partner's ideas and preferences, prefer to discuss RP before starting (if in private/DMs)

  • Timeline RP: usually short-form (minimal action, mostly speech), but can make exceptions

  • DM RP: short and long-form possible, depends on RP partner preferences

  • Multiple IC timelines are possible (i.e. for Alex to be in different places at the same time), if desired for multiple RPs with the same person, or otherwise

  • Welcome either IC starters right away or OOC messages in DMs (but not always)

  • MVRP is welcome! I also do dabble in that, and it makes it easier to find new roleplay partners
